Source of Life
The 5 elements were combined on this piece to give life and hope. The Earth element is represented in part by the orange part of the jade and from it comes the Fire element represented by the carved flames. From the same Earth emerges a Snail carved in Blue Jade representing Water. Through the interaction of Water and Fire, lines emerge that represent Air. With all the elements combined, Life arises, represented by the Woman who, in a subtle smile, is pleased because Life always finds the way to prosper and to flourish.
