Guatemalan Wildlife

This piece expresses the nature of the Maya land, a fertile soil that represents abundance and wealth. It is made of different jade colors, such as lavender, and imperial green. It features species of animals that inhabit the tropical regions of Guatemala.

Artist: ÁNGEL FABRICIO GONZÁLEZ LÓPEZ 

Angel was born on november 26, 1997, in Antigua Guatemala. He began to work with jade at the age of 13, in a lapidary workshop, and years later he has gained skills by learning from different sculptors. Today, he keeps learning new jade carving techniques.
