Balam Earrings

My grandmother is Maya but her grandparents I believe chose to disconnect from the culture due to oppression most likely. At some point I felt called to bring myself back to my roots and through my reconnecting journey I happened to find these and thought they were incredible. The wait was shorter than I expected and came with a ticket for a tour of the museum I think so I might go for my graduation trip. Anyway no disappointment they are beautiful, all love to those who carved these with care.

These earrings are a work of art! I began to have second thoughts while waiting for them and once they arrived I was stunned at how beautiful they are. Worth the wait!!
