In its abstract interpretation, this piece captures the essence of natural cycles and their interconnection. The fundamental elements of the Maya universe: fire, air, water, and earth, are intertwined and represented symbolically, each playing a vital role in the creation and maintenance of life. Through its shapes and fluidity, the artwork illustrates how these elements reproduce among themselves, passing through each other to enable regeneration and the continuous cycle of creation.

Born in April 1985 and based in Mexico City, in the municipality of Tlalnepantla, Raymundo developed a love for handmade arts from a young age. Throughout his life, he worked in various trades, from crafting artisan pieces to becoming a baker, but it was jade where he found his true passion. Self-taught, he learned the necessary techniques through his perseverance and guidance from online masters. His focus and dedication led him to discover the endless possibilities this material offers.
