Atecocolli

Atecocolli is a jade sculpture carved from veined jade in a range of natural shades, where the stone’s own patterns become an essential part of the composition. The form rises and curves like a powerful wave, evoking movement, sound, and the breath of the sea. The piece is conceptually linked to the four elements: water, expressed in the wave-like form and sense of flow; air, suggested by the implied sound and movement carried through space; earth, embodied in the solidity and veined character of the jade itself; and fire, represented by the inner force and momentum that drives the wave forward.
