This piece represents the cycles of life. It is also a representation of our worries dissipating, such as the tides from the sea that vanish forever with each new dawn. It is made of mint green jade.
Artist: BEVERLY ROWLEY
Beverly is a Canadian-Guatemalan artist. She formed a group of carvers called COLECTIVO CINCELES, which brings together over 40 artists who have participated nationally and internationally at contests and events. She has worked on various stones such as serpentine, onyx and jade from Guatemala. She feels motivated to find forms that are hidden in materials to project her personal perspective and propose her vision of creation.
