“Cholq’ij or Tzolk’in” is one of the cycles in the Maya Calendar and it is used in their daily life. It is the basis for their social events and daily work. In the highlands of Guatemala, the “Maya Day Keepers” are responsible to practice this important ancient tradition.
There are 20 different energies called “Nahuales”, which each represent a special meaning and influence over people and mother nature. It is also used to explain and improve their temperament and behavior.
We invite you to find your Maya day symbol or any special date such as your anniversary, grandchildren birthdays, your wedding day, or start any project.
If you are interested to learn more about the Maya Calendar we can arrange a 5 minutes’ zoom presentation.
