Maya Jade Chess Set

Unique and sophisticated chess set. Fully functional as decorative, each piece has been handcarved by Guatemalan artisans. It includes a wooden board and a set of Jade pawns. The King is represented by the Corn God, the Queen is the Moon Goddess, the Rooks are Maya Pyramids, the Knights are Seated Jaguars, the bishops are Monkey Scribes, and the pawns are Standing Jaguars.
