This beautiful necklace is a replica in jade and turquoise of one that was found in Guerrero, Mexico. It dates to the Olmec Era and consists of very well carved legs, drilled to be strung. The Olmec often depicted body parts in their carvings and jewelry. The original is housed in the Art Museum of Princeton in the US.
