Jade Chess Set

Unique and sophisticated chess set. Fully functional as decorative, each piece has been handcarved by Guatemalan artisans. It includes a Jade inlaid-wooden board/box, used to play and to safe all the pawns. The King is represented by the Corn God, the Queen is the Moon Goddess, the Rooks are Maya Pyramids, the Knights are Seated Jaguars, the bishops are Olmec Gods, and the pawns are Seated Figurines.
